We have collected soil from ALL 193 countries! This is a huge accomplishment, with many thanks to our Soil Collection Volunteers for their time and effort. Although the project is called Common Ground 191, there are actually 193 countries in all, so we have one more to go. Why are there 193? This is because in 2006, after the project was well under way, Serbia and Montenegro became independent countries, and South Sudan also became its own country.
